Thinking about the spirit of rest, kindness and what it means to practice love and utmost care for ourselves, the people we love and those who are ‘strangers’ to us. Trying to see this moment as a time of ‘compost’ (ty donna haraway!) all kinds of things and ways of being decompose to create fertile new terrain, for new perspectives and new ways of existing in the world. last year was chaotic, disruptive and awful in so many ways but it undeniably decluttered a lot of minds, hearts and souls in ways that we’re only beginning to understand. thank you 2020, for being our teacher, reminding us how precious life/our planet is, humbling us to surrender to you and for showing us that love is the only truth.
