What was supposed to be an amazing year filled with travel, competition, and my first Olympic Games turned into an isolated hibernation. I am privileged in always having food, shelter, and good health. 🙏🏽 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The hardest part for me was not seeing my friends and family, nor traveling. I followed the rules. What was frustrating was seeing so many disregard the rules, going out and doing what I was giving up, then to be punished with stricter lockdown measures because of it. I believe in science, and to disregard what scientists say, at the most critical of times makes me SMH 🤦🏻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You don’t have to agree with me, but I hope you’d be open to polite discussion; all in all this is just me reflecting on my year. I’m not sad, I had lots of great things happen in 2020. I am looking forward to 2021, and anything it may bring.
