For me personally, New Year’s Eve has always been incredibly important. It’s a night to thank and say good bye to the past year, to celebrate with loved ones, to welcome in the new. As long as I can remember, in my house, it was a night of Shared love, joy, and dancing into morning. This has been such an unbelievably challenging year for so many. So much grief and loss. I’ve been thinking of all those ringing in this new year alone, or with diminished families. I’ve been looking for a way to bring in some joy, some way of saying, you’re not alone. Movement has been my best friend and my greatest love and healer. I have navigated some dark deep waters and healed many wounds, by moving them through my body. Deep inside of us, there’s love, light and joy. And tonight, i figured what better way to release this year, than to move it out with you, to tap into that place, deep inside, and share even a little kernel of joy.
