Tea and sittingさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Tea and sittingInstagram)「🌱...Its New Year’s Eve so I just wanted to say how incredibly thankful I am for all your amazing support this year particularly with all the online open house stuff and new @consciouscreativity book... 2020 has seen some pretty major personal shifts for me; I got married which was a HUGE and very happy shift, I also found out I was in the middle of the menopause, and then more recently I lost my beloved and dear old friend The Cheeks... However, one of the biggest shifts came from a life changing and long overdue wake up call to start engaging with, rather than just thinking about, anti racism work ( a massive thank you to the awe inspiring human being that is @novareidofficial for creating her online anti racism course btw ). I would really urge you to start your own anti racism journey in 2021 if you haven’t already...it’s not really enough to have the anti racism books on your ‘reading list’ because anti racism is so much more than just reading about it; it’s about educating ourselves, learning from being called in and working out why, recognising your white power, privilege, exceptionalism, centering and fragility and how it shows up... being actively open to having your own status quo questioned as well as learning from your mistakes and listening to the reality of black and brown people’s lived experiences. We need to be better equipped in order to be on side and help dismantle white supremacist systems and create a fairer and much more inclusive future for humanity... so if you’ve been ‘thinking’ about doing anti racism work, maybe make 2021 the year that you actually do 💫 As for New Year itself...I’ve never really been a big fan...I’m sure in a week or so I’ll get into a new 2021 rhythm, but for now I just want to wish you all as smooth a transition from this ridiculously crazy year into the next...however you choose to do it. ♥️ ( the beautiful artwork in this photo is by artist Sharon Walters @london_artist1 and is called ‘Growth’ and it’s one of my most precious purchases this year )」1月1日 3時18分
