It’s been a very challenging year for all of us in so many ways. Uncertainty breeds fear which results in unsolicited change. And, change can be scary. This year hasn’t been easy for anyone. We’ve seen a lot of change — we’ve seen a lot of family time — and we’ve seen a lot of personal/professional/social change. Men and women are working from home — trying to navigate this new world of raising children and being confined along with new variables. I have spent a lot of time reevaluating what I want and who I want to do it with. My family and friendship connections have grown stronger, and I’ve been more open and curious to how others manage expectations and uncertainty. I’m excited for 2021. I’m excited for the new feeling of hope and possibility that will encourage my girls to be a better version of themselves. So, thank you 2020.
