Although there were so many faces missing we (three of us!) still kept tradition, I still put on a nice dress as we sat in the kitchen prepping the food. We usually have Festa dei sette pesci (Feast of the Seven Fishes) on Xmas eve but ya know , on an odd year like this we made it to 4 fishes. Lots of pasta and Struffoli (a southern Italian fried dough) all I taste is my grandma’s hugs. This year my brother @jackdawkins made it for us, to keep our spirits up while being away from home.
