This picture has a lot to unpack- and honestly it kind of captures us all perfectly. Post Xmas dinner but before the pie I declared was “the best dessert I’ve ever had” It was well worth the hike I took Xmas eve to get it. 💫It was a sour cream apple walnut pie from @littlepiecompany and I’m NOT doing this for free pie- I just literally almost WEPT at how delicious it was. Also. If you’re like me and your family would go to Houston’s Restaurant for special occasions as a kid and you’d get to order the apple walnut cobbler for dessert, then YOU ALSO MAY WEEP WITH JOY AT THIS PIE. Sense memory is wild. And yes Cricket is eating a grocery store mini cupcake because she makes her own choices. Anyway. Merry merry tired tired grateful. 💜
