They lost their home in The Bahamas and all their belongings in Hurricane Dorian. Upon arriving in Montclair we instantly became family. All 16 of them. The outpouring of giving was incredible. Local restaurants, clothing, hair salons, doctors, and beyond. So many people joined to help. I wrote an article on justbobbi.com a while ago. Their visas were up and had to go back to their home in the Abacos that still didn’t have a roof or electricity. But they keep going and are still rebuilding.
