Always knew the potential it had but understood the commitment it would take to reach any kind of success. We stayed with it and I stayed true to myself by hand picking comedians that resonated with me and providing a platform to up and coming comedians. Most importantly, I’ve always respected the craft of stand up and I appreciate what every single comedian has brought to our shows. This was our first time launching a full on production of the show and it has been another learning experience all together. There were times when we didn’t even know if this show would ever see the light of day. So to see what we were able to accomplish, 100% independent and black owned, is very special to me. With that being said, I want to thank everybody who has been involved and give a big shout to the super talented comedians who killed it in Oakland.
