Vale Stella Tennant. The iconic supermodel has died, aged 50. Her death, described as “sudden” by her family, leaves behind her four children and husband, photographer David Lasnet. Known in the industry as one of the original supermodels, Tennant’s androgynous style and signature pixie cut made her a favourite of photographers including Steven Meisel, who launched her career with a shoot for British Vogue in 1993. Tennant will be remembered for her passionate environmental activism, generous philanthropy, tenacious attitude and chameleonic style.
