My parents took me to Broadway for the first time on my 16th birthday to see her in The Music Man. I'll never forget how kind she was to me at the stage door. When I played Maria in @SoundofMusic with @MattfDoyle , it was @rebecca.luker 's recording I'd play every day to prepare to sing the role. My heart is truly broken for her loved ones and the theater community. What a soprano angel heaven has gained. I will be donating to the Mariah Fenton Gladis Foundation today in Rebecca's honor.
