But what exactly does this mean ? For years I didn’t agree with this concept.I was very capable of loving others, perhaps a little too much. So surely this was not applicable to ME? But over time I have come to understand what this means, in a very real and practical way. *I cannot give you something that doesn’t already exist inside myself. *My ability to love for the act of giving ,NOT to fill my own voids is 100 % contingent on how much I’ve filled myself up with love first. *If I love myself , I actually have some thing to SHARE with you .
