Its crazy to say that my very first movie I was given the opportunity to act opposite @reesewitherspoon!! 😩🙌🏾 Through the whole experience I was so excited and yet scared sh*tless, to say the least. I remember when the town car pulled up to the Premiere madness- all the lights, the people, the red carpet, etc.- I burst into tears because I was so scared and overwhelmed. I was afraid I would say the wrong thing, afraid they'd hate my outfit, afraid my whole part had gotten cut from the movie, afraid I didn't belong. I was ruining my makeup and literally spiraling so my Dad asked the driver to skip the drop off line and to circle around the block... he then proceeded to pray over me- in the backseat of that car. That good down- south Daddy prayer that will encourage and empower you to gather yourself and to remember where ya come from and whose ya are- Amen. To my Dad, my Mom, and the many wonderful people that have spoken to God on my behalf- I just want to say Thank you. It is only with the Grace of God that I can say Cheers to 10 years of being able to walk in my dream (professionally)!! I'm praying all those who hold dreams in their hearts find the courage, the discipline, and God's guiding hand to pursue them!!
