It’s wonderful that there is so much more inclusivity in the acting world. It’s far overdue. But limiting any creative process because it doesn’t fit the PC narrative makes it no longer about art. It makes it an assignment. Helen Keller, the Miracle Worker was the first big project I was ever in. The show stuck with me my whole life. I was 11 years old or so. We learn and grow from taking leaps to be something new, and stretching our artist muscles. It is because of new experiences, that we learn and grow from one another. This is getting out of hand.
