This is a family holding it down for family appreciation post. @lilly. Girl. This damn queen. She called me one day out of the blue and asked me to be a part of her Brown Bar sketch and I said sure of course but it just happens that my dad is in town kicking it with me and my brother. We had just heard that ABC had passed on turning my pilot about my family into a show and Lilly said bring the fam and we will throw them all in the sketch. So my dad, brother and I showed up the next day... and just watch this woman direct. She makes everyone in the room feel seen and loved. She encourages them to take risks and then supports them in their weird choices LIKE MY DAD WEARING THIS CRAZY HAT HE BROUGHT TO THE SHOOT. And my brother who was low key like wtf and wanted to chill she got him the shot in the background. She just got green lit season two of her show @latewithlilly and when I tell you I couldn’t be more proud...
