The Hoh rainforest is the largest rainforest in the temperate zone. It is located on the Olympic Peninsula in western Washington State (USA) and lies within the Olympic National Park. It stretches 38 km along the Hoh River. Annual rainfall here varies between 3.6 and 4.2 metres per year.
