I had a great team and was surrounded by the best support system, including my mom @maripazortega, who (apart from Billy) was the first person to encourage me, support me, and make me believe that I could do it. If you ever get to watch the video, I hope it reminds you of your mom. It’s not easy, guys. No mother is perfect, but every mom has experienced pain, love, and sacrifice. Giving birth was both hard and fulfilling, but not as much as actually being a mother. I already thought being pregnant was life-changing, but the past three months have been completely transformative, to say the least. Suddenly a lot of the things that used to matter so much to me seem small and trivial to me now compared to what’s right in front of me, also since this pandemic has taught us that happiness and peace are truly within arm’s reach.
