So we met up today and he did some practice runs (dropping in and kickturns) that looked solid. He finally climbed the stairs to my 13.5’ ramp and on the way up asked “so I just gotta commit, right?” I said yes but you gotta bend your knees a little more on the way down. I don’t think he heard that last part as he put his board down and went for it without hesitation... I didn’t even have time to get my phone out to record it. He got up right afterwards, went back to the smaller 1/4 pipe and dropped in a few times before finally deciding to come back another day. This is the loudest sound my ramp has ever made btw.
