A friend of mine once told me that your not a man until your father passes away. These words have sat with me ever since.

I write this message, filled with sadness, but, as I reflect on what my father did to prepare me for this day, that sadness that sits in the pit of your soul when you lose someone close to you turns to celebration. Celebration of a great man who moulded and shaped me into becoming the man I am today.

My father taught me how to be fearless and always have a purpose in everything I do. He would often tell me a problem is only a problem if you make it one.

My father lived a long, meaningful life and impacted many lives, with his passing, at the age of 90 I want to celebrate my Dad because of him I understand what it means to be a man. 🙏🏿
