#fbf - recording strings on my song #whychristmas a few months ago! incredibly, they were all played by this one amazing musician, Matt Combs - layering one line on top of another til it sounded like a full string quartet. we recorded this part at @thefleetwoodshack - the rest of the song was recorded earlier at @addictionsound and that piano part you hear was played on this extraordinary @faziolipianos_official instrument, which i have been craving every day since. i co-produced it with @williamaubreyreynolds, beautifully mixed by @rjfreeland. i am so very proud of how the song turned out - you can hear it at the link in my bio. #bts #nashvillestudio #flashbackfriday #nashvillemusic #nashvillemusician #christmasmovies #newchristmasmusic #mattcombs
