Last year @madeleine_cope and I went on a new routing trip to Mongolia. I think Maddy’s face in the second photo sums it up: yes it was amazing and wonderful but it was also not quite what we expected 😂 Jen Randall @lightshedpictures and @alex_c_gorham created a film about the adventure which will be in this years @reelrock The other films also look amazing. I’m most excited to see Deep Roots the film about Lonnie Kauk and Magic Line, a route I also climbed last year. Lonnie is a real character and as the film suggests he has deep roots to that line and to Yosemite Valley. Well done to everyone involved in these films, they are not easy to make but we hope that they contribute some positive vibes towards the closing of the 2020 chapter.
