1️⃣ "I started in the back, taking a vertical section in the center. I dropped hair below the occipital bone, because I wanted to keep the perimeter thick.⁣
2️⃣ I cut a line connecting my desired length for the shortest layer to the hair I lifted from the bottom.⁣
3️⃣ I worked my way to the right, making each new section travel to the previous section. Using it as a guide for cutting. This made each section longer than the previous.⁣
4️⃣Once I reached the part of the head where it starts to round into the sides, I used a stationary guide. ⁣
5️⃣ In the front, I took my first section in the middle of the top of the head. I took a guide from the back and angled my finger to keep the front long enough. I pulled that section back to make the hair in the front travel and keep it long.⁣
6️⃣ I worked my way to one side of the head, making each section travel to the previous section. Once I reach the parietal ridge, I used a stationary guide. This made the hair shorter on top and longer on the bottom.⁣
7️⃣ Vertically, this haircut is shorter on top, longer in the bottom. Horizontally, it is shorter in the back, longer in the front. Knowing “short hair pushes longer hair", this will remove weight. Giving it texture and make the face appear narrower." ⁣
