Team USA team-mates Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson went head-to-head for the women's artistic gymnastics individual all-around gold at Beijing 2008. Their rivalry was a huge talking point but the two friends still supported each other throughout the competition, even grabbing hands in a show of solidarity between their floor routines.
