'Le Château des Dames' was the name given to the @シャネル Métiers d'art 2020/21 collection which it presented tonight at the Château de Chenonceau, an obvious choice for Virginie Viard who took her inspiration from the iconic women who lived there: Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de' Medici (whose own emblem was two Cs intertwined like Chanel's own logo). The black and white checkerboard floor of the great gallery where the show took place was also to be found as a print throughout the unparalleled collection which concentrated once again the unrivaled expertise of Chanel's Métiers d'art
