Ifeoma grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, which is where she developed a fascination with nature and landscape photography. In fact, one of her first trips as a photographer was to a place with some of the most incredible landscapes in the country: Yosemite National Park. . “Most of the photos I captured were at night and the park, really all parks, was magical in the middle of the night with no people around,” Ifeoma recently told T+L. “I’m always cautious when camping, hiking, or capturing photographs because I travel alone, but I feel more comfortable when working at night because there's usually nobody else around.” . When asked about her approach while out shooting, Ifeoma says, “For any nature or landscape photographers, weather is the biggest consideration. I absolutely cannot shoot on nights with full cloud cover, or during the middle of a day with no clouds. I use downloaded Google Maps for no or low coverage trips as much as I use a slew of weather apps to plan out my time.” . Her advice for aspiring photographers: “Practice, practice, practice. Particularly if you're interested in astro photography. I can't count the number of photographs I've captured and dumped as part of my practice.
