As the night time economy in London continues to be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall today visited Soho to show their support for the city’s vibrant nightlife.

At @sohotheatre, The Prince and The Duchess joined the Mayor of London to watch a rehearsal of the one-woman play ‘Half Breed’ and met staff and performers. Before COVID-19, the theatre had audiences of up to 1,000 people a night and since the first lockdown, has been streaming performances online. 🎭

Down the road at @100clubLondon, the world’s oldest grassroots music venue, The Prince and The Duchess spoke to music professionals about how the pandemic has affected the industry.

The club has been run by the same family for four generations - Ruby Horton will take over from her father Jeff when he retires.

Their Royal Highnesses spoke to club staff and watched a live music performance 🎶
