This is a big week for Bayou, and I’m up early with the morning birds prepping for another big shoot day. This whole week has been planned for months, and with added covid safety protocol it takes extra care and planning to put this together. Multiple tests and quarantine over the course of two weeks to make sure everyone is 100%, plus outdoors plus masks and six feet even though everyone is negative. We formed a “Bayou production pod” in order to make this happen. Thank you to the wonderful team that helped with this very important aspect of the shoot. Life goes on, work goes on, we must find a way to continue on while being extra sensitive to our elderly and immune compromised folks all over the world who deserve our collective thoughtfulness. Regardless of what you believe, let’s all care enough about each other, even those we don’t know, to do our best. To be thorough. To be mindful. To be loving, especially as we approach the holidays.
