We feature Stacey Abrams and her organization Fair Fight, which has powerfully fought voter suppression in Georgia and highlighted injustices that disenfranchised marginalized populations. We also highlighted many other black women in leadership whose accomplishments and contributions we all should know. To be a black woman in leadership is to be a pioneer. To defy the norm, to dare to push against the status quo; to be rebellious. And thereby create a pathway that brings about a more equitable future for all. This month, we celebrate the rebels.
