I've been playing Fender guitars since I was 16, when I got my first Strat. A Mexican 3 colour sunburst 60's replica that I wore with a black strap that had white musical notes on it, and a shiny silver sticker that read 'custom' that I placed below the bridge. I desperately wanted the SRV signature Strat, so I made do with what I could afford. Fender has always been at the helm of my love for the guitar. Every tone I've been inspired by has come from the strings of a Fender guitar. It's an unbelievable honour to have done this film with them, for a guitar that I fucking love. The Acoustasonic is brilliant. It's the most fun I've had playing a guitar since I was 16, playing Pride & Joy on my Mexican Strat in my bedroom after school. Thank you for everything you've done for me Fender. Thanks to the whole crew for being so friendly and keeping us all safe and healthy. Also, huge shout out to Brett Cox (@coxba9 ) who agreed to come and do this film with me. We made a genuinely magnificent piece of music in just 8hrs of recording. We should do this A LOT more.
