Thank you so much NHK❤️ (Link in BIO) Translation of my Memorial Message: “NHK trophy was always the first competition in Japan of the season for me and Chris. We were always so excited to perform our new programs for our Japanese fans and of course to see Domo kun! Chris LOVED Domo kun! I think the most memorable program for us at NHK was our Shogan free dance in 2013. At Nebelhorn Trophy, two months before NHK, that program not only got us the spot for the Sochi Olympics but also the team event spot for Japan as well. Chris struggled with his knee so much throughout that season, but that program gave us such strength and confidence. After getting the spot for Sochi, performing that free dance at NHK in Japan, was just so special for us. It was Chris’ and my dream to see future Japanese couples compete at NHK Trophy and other international events and the Olympics. Chris’ passion, perseverance and pure, love of dance, always shined in his skating.
