"Growing up my mom would make friend chicken and I always thought it was so good! When I learned that she would coat the chicken in mustard I thought it was kind of odd, but it was so good, and easy enough to make. So we would have it like this often and just season with salt and pepper. I recently shared how I made this chicken on Tik Tok and was surprised with how many people make their chicken the same way. I was also given suggestion on other ingredients people made it with. A few people said they add mayo, and additional seasoning, so I had to try it!⁠
I didn't measure any of the ingredients for this, but I coated my chicken drumsticks with mayo and mustard, then seasoned with @Flavorgod Seasonings salt and pepper and everything seasoning. I left the chicken in the fridge for a few hours and then fried it in avocado oil. This turned out amazing!⁠
I was asked how I cooked my chicken.⁠
I cooked the chicken in medium high heat to make the skin golden brown, then lowered the heat to medium low, cover, and cooked for around 40 minutes, turning occasionally."⁠
