「UNIQUE」

This sweater recreates materials developed approximately 40 years ago to achieve a classic feel. Its glossy smoothness comes from knitting with 5-strand 5-gauge yarn using long cotton textile threads. The material is knitted with a now rare sinker to capture the texture and atmosphere of the time.
Double-sided, three-point decorative stitches are used to reinforce double-stitched sections due to the material’s characteristic elasticity and the sewing process takes considerable time because stitch balancing is difficult for such soft fabric.

約40年前に開発された素材を再現してクラシカルな表情に仕上げたSweater。光沢感と滑らかさを出すため、繊維⻑の⻑い綿を使⽤し5本どり5ゲージで編み⽴て。素材感も当時の雰囲気にこだわり希少なシンカー機を使⽤して編み⽴てました。特徴的な太い畝はウールでは見かけますが、コットン100%では希少です。
伸縮性のある素材の特性を考え、2本針オーバー後に3本針両⾯飾りで縫製、柔らかい素材ですので⽷調⼦を合わせるのが難しく縫製に時間がかかります。
