In the beginning of this year, another one of my dreams came true. It’s not something that I openly voiced as a dream, because well, I like to keep them secret and just work at the privately. And well I kiiiiind of had done it before, but not completely. Ok ok. I’ve held off on saying what exactly long enough. Thanks to my incredible agent (and I like to think friend) @georgiamakely who believed in me, I was able to sign with my dream agency. @fordmodels . The day that I signed with them, I cried tears of joy (which well I also did today) As an athlete and therefore muscular woman, there hasn’t really been a place for me in the modeling industry. We all have been seeing skinny and perfect women on covers and in stores since the beginning. We then included curvy women. And then finally the doors for my body type began to open. While it stills isn’t the way that it necessarily should be, we are going in the right direction and I truly hope that @fordmodels @georgiamakely and I can make it happen so that little girls aspire to be strong women, inside and out.
