The pandemic has forced us to stay on top of various numbers. But what about the number of children who've had their education disrupted by COVID-19? At their peak, COVID-19 school closures affected almost 1.6 billion students - hitting vulnerable children hardest. ⠀

To prevent a lost generation, governments must reimagine education for every child. This means reopening schools with all possible safety measures - and keeping them open. ⠀
