She had a great attitude, worked hard, is drop dead gorgeous and just a pleasure to be around. When the stage production #Kiladelphia that I’m in said they were having a casting right in Dallas- for local and new talent-I reached out to her to ask to audition. Although she didn’t have a resume or tons of experience- she showed up anyway. I felt like a stage mom calling and inquiring how my girl did. Well—- today we were on the same stage working. And I’m so very proud of her. Not JUST for EARNING the part- but for even TRYING. There’s so many people that SAY they wanna be successful but are too scared to take the FIRST steps towards their goals. It’s easy to say “may be one day I can do/be x,y,z BUT those that REALLY want it- don’t just talk about it- they actually put themselves out there risking rejection and ridicule and DO IT ANYWAY. That’s really the difference between success and failure- the WILLINGNESS to TRY... and then try again! I really hope this post inspires someone else to GO FOR IT.
