Even today, as I venture outside my comfort zone and try new things like diving or photography, it all starts with setting my intentions and getting my mind right! Closing my eyes. Deep breaths. Visualizing. Visualizing the experience I want to have. Anticipating a successful outcome. Seeing it all the way through. This doesn't mean everything I do turns out how I expected and most of the time is rarely how I actually imagined it, but it locks me in! It gives me a blueprint to move forward. Instead of limiting beliefs out of frustration and fear, I am often driven by joy and excitement, which ultimately leads to what I define as my personal best! I believe in living in the possibility of what could be instead of what isn't. When the ball is headed towards my bat or glove, I see myself hitting it or catching it. I never once thought I’m going to miss (and I do), which is why you’ll always see a smile on my face even when it doesn’t go as planned. I smile because life is in the experience, not the end result and my vision only sees the possibility, not the doubt. I am a big advocate that visualizing is the true key to unlocking any success, which I believe is all in the way you show up and not always by the way it turns out.
