Mike and I may have a best selling book but it doesn’t mean that we don’t struggle still. We have good and bad days too just like ANY marriage. It’s just how you repair and grow together that’s important...and that you’re fighting the good fight together but damn if I said it’s been easy the last few months or let alone 2020 I’d be lying. Some seasons just may be harder than the other and that’s okay. As long as your partner is there to fight along with you then we say keep fighting because honestly show me a perfect relationship.... (also mike and I are good!! ...just a hard couples session day...and that’s okay. We are doing the work and that’s what’s important. We will be stronger because of it). We have incredible therapists that have helped us with every day disagreements to the big ones and some days we are better at doing our work than others. Checking in is a big thing we talk about in our book that we got away from everyday. It’s SO important so we are making sure we put that back in.
