Just got pulled over by the LAPD for talking on my cell while driving (speakerphone). Pulled out my antique-cigarette-case-turned-wallet to give the officer my license. While he was running my information I sat there and considered telling him I was using Siri for directions. You know, see if I could get out of it. Then I saw this engraving on the wallet "Sola Bona Quæ Honesta" (Honesty above all). I want that to be true of me. I want people to expect that of me. Some man with the initials WBA and the Archer family crest cared about it enough that he had it etched into his wallet - and if there's any place it'd be easy to tell white lies, it's anywhere money is involved. So thank you to WBA, whoever you were. You set a good example and I'm honored to have something that was yours. Oh, btw, the officer gave me a warning and told me to have a nice day.
