I’m conflicted about this post. In the spirit of #MamieTill (Emmit’s mother) who wanted the world to see what happened to her son I’m posting this photo. I also realize for many of us, the death/killing of black bodies has become so routine it’s borderline torture porn. But there are a number of my followers who are still blind (genuinely/willingly) to the fact that we are dying out here in a disproportionate number. This photo is why you must care about justice & other people’s pain & showing empathy and paying attention when injustice happens. This is NOT in the news. I’ve seen NO #AmberAlert. We might have a name (hearing the name #JanetIrwin i the last hour)——-we cannot ignore this.
