My father, his father, my mother’s father, his brothers, my fathers brothers, my aunt Wendy were all in the military and I grew up on a military base. My dad had a stroke when I was 15 and if it wasn’t for his friends in the military and his ability to stay active, ( he does archery from a wheelchair) he may not be alive today. I want to say happy Veterans Day to all the veterans out there, but this year is bitter sweet, as we lost someone very dear to my heart Captain Dave Peszko, who was like a second dad to me, one of the funniest sweetest guys I ever met. He served for longer than I have been alive. Here’s to all we have loved and lost! I made this image as a salute to all the men in my family who have served.
