For centuries now we have been witness to the wicked advance against indigenous people. The desire to break their tribal bonds, degrade them and rape their culture with the hopes to make Native Americans citizens of the “United States” — while depriving them of the right to vote.

For many years, they faced deliberate obstacles when it came to their right to vote.
And still, it was Indigenous voters who turned some red states blue for this election.

Thank you to my relatives for your wisdom and your patience.

I have so much to learn from you and I am so proud that your blood runs through my veins.
