I’ve got so much admiration and respect for parents who are homeschooling while juggling so many other things and can only imagine how tough this is for both parents and children. As a dyslexic child I really struggled with homework so can empathise with those children struggling with learning outside of the school environment. So I wanted to share some resources that could be handy for anyone currently homeschooling. I hope this is helpful! Firstly, the British Dyslexia Association have written an article which I’ll link in my stories with some helpful homeschooling tips particularly aimed at dyslexics. They are also running a series of free parent webinars to help parents with dyslexic children at home as well as running a helpline so if you’re struggling during lockdown, they are always there for you.
