The rage was there — the hate — now it’s less. Even if we didn’t want it anymore we felt it, representing the great divide. Trump did some good (criminal reform, tax reform, space force I guess) but, undeniably, our country is alone and in that aloneness we are divided. That took no time at all and what we are left with. And COVID (which is supposed to be gone tomorrow) shut us down and made us, ultimately, see ourselves. I hate politics but I love people. I love my country and as hard as it will be, I look forward to building something for our kids to enjoy as a collective, and getting away from this me me me me me era. I truly hope that this extreme red and blue shit starts to be dismantled, and we start to take responsibility as an empire that is to be respected and learned from and who respects and learns from, instead of shames and blames.
