Many of you may remember a while back, we re-wilded a group of spotted hyenas that had been living at the sanctuary. As with anything in life, not everything went according to plan and there were a few heartbreaking moments, but nature can be particularly cruel, even when you’re trying to do the right thing. This video will give you a new perspective and some insight into the commonly asked question of can we release the animals that live at the sanctuary. It’s extremely complicated with so many intricate variables, many of which even the most carefully laid out plan wouldn’t be able to address all of.
