One word to describe what this search has been to me over the past 3 years is: priority. During these past 3 years, I have: planned a wedding and got married; shopped for, purchased and fully furnished a condo; packed for and lived in: 9 different cities, 6 different states, 2 different countries — and during alllll of this, my dream of being in SI Swim has been my number 1 priority. Everyone involved in my life over the past 3 years has heard me talk about this dream. I do not stop manifesting 😅🙏🏼 3 years ago I was living in NYC, and I was depressed. I had no plan for my future. I had a deep desire to model, but I was certain that I would be turned down at agencies & I didn’t think I could handle the rejection. So I didn’t even try. I was too scared and insecure. I saw on instagram that @si_swimsuit was having their 2nd search. I found some courage & went for it. And it CHANGED MY LIFE! The conversations and interactions I have had with the entire SI team, like @mj_day, and models, like @haleyybaylee, have given me the confidence and power to fully chase my dreams. Now, I get rejected all the time haha, but I do not let it knock me down. I want to change the industry standards on “beauty”, specifically sample sizes, & body shapes #strongissexy I have evolved into the person I always wanted to be. In large part, due to my experiences with this search. I am now a model. I am someone who isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes in. I’m not afraid of rejection.
