‘Teenager Teenager’ (2020) a hyper-realistic art installation by Chinese artists Sun Yuan & Peng Yu, presented at the Tenuta Casenuove in Panzano, Chianti. Curated by Philippe Austruy and Galleria Continua in collaboration with Museo Salvatore Ferragamo, the work of art presents a surreal depiction of people dressed in Salvatore Ferragamo clothing, lounging on plush sofas with enormous rocks atop their heads, effectively blocking their view of reality. With this project, Museo Salvatore Ferragamo has confirmed its interest in contemporary art and renewed its partnership with Galleria Continua, as demonstrated by many other collaborative projects, including Invasion, an installation by Pascale Marthine Tayou at the Sustainable Thinking exhibition at Museo Salvatore Ferragamo in Florence since 2019.
