#SaveOurStagesSunday in rehearsal and on stage in @fileundernone ‘s OTHER DESERT CITIES directed by the staggeringly talented Joe Mantello at @lincolncenter and on Broadway with Elizabeth Marvel, Rachel Griffiths, the unmatchable @stacykeach, the goddess @judithlight and the force of nature that is Stockard Channing. Bailed out regularly by the brilliant @matthewrisch_ .

What I wouldn’t give to be standing backstage, chanting “fuck em” (as was our cast pre-show ritual) with any and all of these beautiful artists.

Please remember that our theatre performing, technical and back-stage artists are in a world of hurt that shows no sign of abating. Please remember that the theatre is an indispensable and glorious art form, that it is a very significant economic driver (especially in NYC) and that for the cost of a fraction of the $125 Billion in administrative and bureaucratic waste from the Pentagon budget (the DoD’s own study ca. 2016) we could provide stability and aid to the entire theatre industry.
