This was back in March Just before Covid hit and we had to halt construction. We are back building again and making a lot of progress... As black people we are not going to solve the many issues we face on the continent and in the diaspora overnight or by next year or the year after... But I promise, you will be surprised by what we can accomplish within a generation. 100% of the issues we face today as black people from Nigeria to Congo to Tanzania, to Ghana to America/UK can be boiled down to a lack of leadership... And the truth is those that READ will LEAD. Education is the key to cultivating transformational leadership that can transform our condition but we must start from the ground up... AND we must work together. @mrhackett1 and I have been working in this community with @bishopdrmercy and our team for the past 14 years... starting with one classroom and a hand full of children. Fast forward to today we have a primary school educating hundreds of children and now with the help of @chakabars @omega_axsal @Iheartafricadotorg and the #wewillrisetogether campaign are building the Akosombo Technology Academy for secondary level creating many jobs along the way.
