A voice so iconic it inspired millions of impersonations. An Actor so unique, his single line reading 57 years ago of “Bond, James Bond” has found its way into 24 subsequent films and continues to be a gateway to many a young man or woman practicing make believe in front of a mirror. There are those who could wish for a role so iconic as to define a career and then there are those who take the opportunity that fate gives them and continue to create role after role that will stand the test of time from playing to Indiana Jones’s Father, to going on the hunt for Red October, to being one of the Untouchables. In the years and decades to come, there will be many who define and redefine stardom and take their mantle as leading man and action star, but for as long as cinema continues to shine its flickering images down on us, there will never be another #SeanConnery , a true one-of-kind.
