I swam in the ocean. I voted. I wore a face mask. You can do 2 out of the 3, maybe all 3. I don’t know where you live, possibly it’s in a landlocked state. One time I went to the opposite of the ocean- a desert- by myself, because I didn’t have a job and I was having trouble getting auditions and I felt lost and confused, so I thought going somewhere really hot would distract me. There were a ton of stars out there and I thought, wow, the world is so big and so beautiful and blah blah blah etc etc and for some reason we can be drawn to such cruelty and corruption and we forget to take care of each other, the ones who suffer, the ones who have to fight, the ones who struggle, we forget because we are afraid or lazy or exhausted or angry, angry at people because they’ve hurt us, angry at people because they are different and we don’t understand them and we don’t want to. And that’s okay, sometimes, we are only human, you can’t stop that stuff. But when we really need to we can step up and fight and have courage and strength to take care of each other because man there’s a ton of beautiful stuff out there and life is hard enough and we need to protect each other. So go vote? Go vote! And wear a mask! And socially distance, even though we are exhausted.
